Are you a good fit?
Professional caregivers support and assist senior citizens, and people with chronic disease or disabilities. They are typically trained as home care aides or certified nursing assistants. Working under the guidance of a home care agency, professional caregivers help clients with things like dressing, bathing, toileting, cooking, eating, transportation and tasks around the home. You should be comfortable working with the elderly or people with disabilities or diseases. You will also need to be okay with some health and personal care and occasionally dealing with difficult situations.
